Nanotechnology can best be defined as a description of activities at the
level of atoms and molecules that have applications in the real world.
The objectives of this Course is to provide students with a detailed
knowledge of nanotechnology and their application in the medical field
in an ethical and safe manner. The students of this course will also learn
of relevant basic scientific principles underpinning nanotechnology,
important bionanomaterials and their preparation, characterization and
their applications and relevant tools and processes for measuring and
characterizing nanosize particles. Students after completion of this
course will have ample opportunity in the field of medical
bionanotechnology including R&D centres in various pharmaceutical
and diagnostic industries.
Eligibility:M.B.B.S /B.D.S./B.Sc . (Allied Health Sciences ) /
B.Sc. (Life Sciences /Biosciences )/B.Sc Botany with ancillary Zoology/
B.Sc (Biotechnology /Microbiology /Chemistry /Biochemistry)/
Bachelor of Physiotherapy(BPT) / Bachelor of Occupation Therapy
(BOT)/Bachelor of pharmacy (B.pharm.) /Bachelor in Audiology
and Speech Language Pathology /Biomedical Engineering /
B.Sc Nursing /B.Sc.Physician’s Assistant of any graduate degree in
medical /health sciences awarded by recognized University with a
minimum of 55%marks.

How to Apply:
Application along with prospectus can be obtained on payment of Rs.500/- made through Demand Draft drawn in favor of “Chettinad Academy of Research and Education, payable at Chennai. The form can be obtained in person/through post/may be downloaded from the University website. If the form is downloaded, the completed form must be accompanied by a D.D. as per the above instruction.
